Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs play the finale of a three-game series against the Rochester Red Wings at Frontier Field... With a doubleheader sweep last night (6-1, 4-0), the Pigs have won back-to-back games for the first time in 2016 and have evened out their record at 2-2... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- have lost back-to-back games for the first time this season. The Wings started 2016 by taking two of three contests from Scranton/WB (1-1 in Moosic; 1-0 in Rochester). The Pigs will next return home for a six-game home stand starting with their Home Opener on Thursday against Pawtucket (2-4).
RHP David Buchanan (4-2, 2.80 in IL in 2015) will start for LHV against RHP Tyler Duffey (5-6, 2.53 in IL in 2015).
First-Pitch today is at 1:35 p.m.
