For the second time in team history and for the first time since 2012*, the IronPigs (53-67) play a day-night doubleheader -- Games 2 and 3 of a four-game series -- against the sixth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (45-75) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 7-6 loss in 10 innings last night, the Pigs have now dropped four straight games and seven consecutive contests to North Division opponents. Still, the Pigs are 24-19 in their last 43 affairs and are 31-25 since reaching their low-water mark on June 14... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- snapped their 11-game losing streak one loss shy of their season-high (12, June 29-July 12) and two defeats short of the franchise record of 13 set in 1985. Still, the Paw Sox are just 7-36 since improving to 38-39 on June 28... In the last meeting between these teams, the Pigs took a three-game series, 2-1, at McCoy Stadium from July 10-12.
