Indianapolis Indians News Release

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians (72-50) rallied behind a three-run fourth inning to defeat the Durham Bulls (58-64), 3-2, Saturday night at Victory Field. Josh Bell delivered the game-winner, a two-run single with the bases loaded to drive in Jordy Mercer and Keon Broxton.

Tribe starter Vance Worley (1-0) made his first appearance of the season for Indianapolis after being assigned to Indianapolis' roster last week. He worked five innings and allowed just two runs in his victory.

A.J. Morris and Bobby LaFromboise bridged the gap to the ninth inning, and Blake Wood earned his International League-leading 26th save of the season by striking out the side.

A crowd of 15,237 witnessed the Tribe triumph, and the Indians improved their record to 4-2 on the current homestand that runs through Tuesday night.
