
Lewicki Joins the Heat

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Aaron Lewicki has signed a player tryout agreement with the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL. In a separate move, the Walleye placed goaltender Ryan Zapolski on injured reserve and added Christian Davis as an emergency backup.
Lewicki will be making his first trip to the American Hockey League. Aaron has appeared in 22 games this year with the Walleye, scoring six goals while collecting seven assists. Lewicki has nine points (6g, 3a) in his last eight games. The Heat play in Chicago tonight.
