ESTERO, Fla. - Florida's Scott Pitt scored with 14 seconds left in overtime as the Florida Everblades (14-13-1-1-30) scored a 3-2 overtime win over the Titans (10-13-2-2-24) in Germain Arena Thursday night.

The game featured end-to-end action, with Chase Lageraap giving the Titans a 1-0 lead, assisted by Ryan Hayes and Jordon Southorn with 11:40 remaining in the first period. Florida's Matt Beca tied it on the power play with 15 seconds remaining in the period, assisted by Mathieu Roy and Philip-Michael Devos.

The Titans then took the lead on a disputed goal by Steve Silva, his first as a Titan, with 9:13 remaining in the second period. Silva rocketed a shot past Florida netminder Pat Nagle, which hit the back of the net, bounced off the crossbar and then out.

It was ruled a goal by referee Geoff Miller and the Titans had a lead they held until 1:40 was left in regulation.

With just 100 seconds remaining, Devos scored a power-play goal, assisted by Rylan Galiardi and David Fischer, setting the stage for Pitt's heroics.

The Titans did get a point vs. their Southeast Division foes, who they will meet again Friday night.
