Cleveland Barons News Release
Your Cleveland Barons will conduct the second "Heinen's Breakaway With The Barons" tonight from 5-7pm at the Rocky River Recreation Center. Admission is free to all, the Rec. Center is located on 21018 Hilliard Blvd. in Rocky River.
The Barons will practice approximately from 5pm to 6pm before clearing the ice. Following the practice, from approximately 6:15 -7:30 the team will take part in a post-practice skate with those in attendance. Skates will be provided at the rink compliments of the Recreation Center and Heinen's. The event is open to everyone.
At the event, the Barons will have giveaways, an auction for various items, and merchandise on hand for purchase. All children 12 and under receive one complimentary ticket to an upcoming Barons home game. The players will also be available for autographs during the open skate.
After the "Heinen's Breakaway With The Barons", Matt Carkner, Rob Davison, Yuri Moscevsky, and Robert Mulick will be on hand to meet and greet patrons at the BW-3 in Rocky River at 20412 Center-Ridge Road. Labatt Blue will test fans wrist shot ability with the Labatt Hockey Shoot-out. Participants must be 21-years or older to compete and have the opportunity to win a variety of merchandise from Labatt. Your Barons play three straight contests on home ice this week with a midweek Buckeye Battle against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Wednesday night. Friday and Saturday the San Antonio Rampage visit.
All three games begin at 7:05pm.

Barons Collectors Cup! First 3,000 fans at Friday night's game Vs. San Antonio will receive a limited edition Barons collectors cup.
"Cheechoo - God Bless You!" Show up early on Saturday night as the first 3,000 fans will receive a Jonathan Cheechoo "dual" bobblehead doll courtesy of Heinen's Fine Foods. This bobblehead doll is believed to be the first of it's kind! On one-side it's Cheechoo as a Cleveland Baron, where he earned his second straight AHL All-Star appearance. On the other side, it's Cheechoo as a San Jose Shark, where he is fourth on the Sharks in plus/minus and has nine points in his first NHL season.
Bring Your Skates! Following Saturday's game you can skate with the Barons for free. Just bring your skates to the game and enjoy some quality ice-time with the team!
