Legends Fall Short in Reno Despite Singletary's Big Game

Reno, NV, (March 24, 2013) -The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), came up short against the Reno Bighorns on the road, falling 93-103.

The Legends kept the score close throughout the first half, rallying back from a 7-point deficit to go into halftime down 42-43. The fourth quarter brought a tough offensive battle for both teams as the Legends were outscored 32-37.

Sean Singletary led the game in scoring with 35 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Fred House and George Odufuwa added 15 and 14 respectively, while Dwayne Jones posted the team's only double-double with 13 points and 17 rebounds.

Desmon Farmer came off the bench to lead the Bighorns with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Legends will return to the road Saturday, March 30th to face the Charge in Canton at 6:30pm CT. The team will return to Veracruz Court at Dr. Pepper Arena for their final two games Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th as they host the Springfield Armor at 7pm both nights.
