Bighorns Late Rally Falls Short against Idaho

Reno, NEV - The Reno Bighorns' exciting comeback against the Idaho Stampede fell short on Saturday night, as Reno lost 115-111.

The Bighorns (15-29) were down by 19 points, and came back to tie the game at 106-106 with 3:24 left in the game. Reno took the lead 108-106 after Dar Tucker made a driving hook shot. Idaho took the lead for good on Carlon Brown's three-pointer. Justin Harper and Coby Karl each made shots after that to seal the victory for Idaho.

Orien Greene and Desmon Farmer each scored 21 points to lead Reno. Samardo Samuels added 20 points and Dar Tucker chipped in 18 points.

Carlon Brown's 27 pointed paced the Stampede. Sean Evans recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The Bighorns will be back in action on Sunday afternoon as they take on the Texas Legends at 3 p.m. Sunday is also Go Green Day, presented by High Desert Recycling and American Shredding.
