
Legends Fall in Historic Singh-Bhullar Matchup

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (15-14) hosted a historic matchup between India's Satnam Singh and Sim Bhullar. Bhullar powered out a double-double to lead the Raptors 905 (12-19) past the home team 136-80.
Raptors 905 took off to an early lead and never looked back. Shooting 64% to the Legends' 37%, the visitors built up a 37-point lead by halftime. The Mississauga-based 905 continued relentlessly after the break as they finished off the victory in the first meeting of the two franchises.
Tu Holloway led the Legends with 19 points, 3 rebounds while Brandon Ashley added 13 points, 6 boards, and 3 blocks.
Raptors 905 had eight players in double-digits led by Scott Suggs with 24 points. Toronto-assignee Bruno Caboclo (22 points, 11 rebounds) and Bhullar (13 points, 10 rebounds) added the game's only double-doubles.
The Legends will return to the court Saturday night hosting the Austin Spurs at 7pm. The game will be broadcast live on Texas 47 as well as online through the NBA D-League's YouTube channel and www.kvgiradio.com.
