
Lawson joins Portland

Norwich, CT -- The Boston Red Sox have added RHP Ryne Lawson to the Sea Dogs roster, effective immediately. To make room, RHP Kyle Jackson has been tranfserred to Single-A Lancaster (California League).
Lawson will start today, August 10, against the Connecticut Defenders. He will be making his second Double-A start, following a win in his debut Tuesday, August 5 in Reading. Lawson is 1-0, 3.60 with Portland. In 31 games between Portland and Greenville (Single-A South Atlantic League), Lawson has earned a 5-3 record with a 4.51 ERA.
