AT THE DISH: Brian Serven got the scoring started with a two-run homer off Clayton Kershaw in the second ... Yonathan Daza finished 3-for-5 with an RBI single, his second consecutive multi-hit game ... Elehuris Montero and Greg Bird each had two hits, with Bird driving home a run ... Albuquerque scored two runs on wild pitches and another via passed ball.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Ryan Rolison (1-2, 7.56) opened his outing with three scoreless innings but faltered in the fourth, finishing with seven hits and six runs allowed in 3.2 frames ... Oklahoma City scored all seven of their fourth inning runs with two outs ... Matt Davidson hit the first pitch from Jake Bird for a grand slam after Rolison was removed ... Chad Smith struck out the side in order in the eighth inning.

TOPES TIDBITS: Kershaw allowed two runs in three innings ... Serven batted .333 (12-for-36) with six home runs in ten games against Oklahoma City this year ... Nine of his 36 career home runs have come when facing off with a Dodgers affiliate ... The Isotopes and Dodgers split the season series 9-9 ... Albuquerque has not taken the season set from OKC since 2017 (3-1) ... The Topes have lost three consecutive series for the first time since late July 2019 (two against Salt Lake, one against Memphis).

ON DECK: The Isotopes return home Thursday for a modified doubleheader against the El Paso Chihuahuas (AAA Padres). The action will start at 5:05 PM with the teams resuming a suspended game from July 6, and El Paso leads that contest 5-3 in the top of the fifth of what was a scheduled seven-inning game. After a half-hour break, the Isotopes and Chihuahuas will play another seven-inning contest. Probable starters for that game are RHP Ryan Castellani (3-9, 6.78) for Albuquerque and fellow righty Adrian Martinez (0-2, 8.05) for El Paso.
