LaMonte Wade, Jr. joins Kernels on MLB rehab assignment
Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announce that OF LaMonte Wade, Jr. will join the Kernels on an MLB rehab assignment. Brian Maloney, Senior Manager of Minor League Operations, announced the moves.
Wade played for the Kernels during the 2015 and 2016 season, playing a combined 60 games. In 2016, he hit .280 (58-207) with 4 HR and 27 RBI.
