STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, has announced that left wing Mike Lalonde has been activated from the 30-day injured reserve list and will be in uniform tonight for the Thunder regular season home finale at Stockton Arena against the Fresno Falcons.

Lalonde, 26, leads the Thunder with 23 goals and 230 shots while ranking second on the team with 50 points (23g-27a) and nine power-play goals, while compiling a +4 rating in 50 games played this season.

Lalonde led the team with 29 goals (tied for fifth among all ECHL rookies) for the club's 2005-06 inaugural season while ranking third on the team with 52 points (29g-23a), leading the club with 13 power play goals, and leading the entire ECHL with 308 shots. A 2006 All-Star selection to the National Conference, Lalonde picked up three points in the contest (1g-2a) at Fresno, while scoring the game's first goal as part of a 7-6 National Conference victory.

Prior to making his ECHL debut in 2004-05 with the Las Vegas Wranglers, where he registered one assist in five games, Lalonde compiled a decorated four-year college hockey career at Michigan State University (NCAA). A native of Chetwynd, British Columbia, Lalonde posted 101 career points (50g-51a) for the Spartans, including a 40-point campaign (22g-18a) as a 2003-04 junior where he led the program with 22 goals while helping guide the Spartans to an NCAA Frozen Four Tournament berth as a 2001-02 freshman.

The Thunder returns to play with its regular season home finale against Fresno on Wednesday, April 4, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Stockton Arena to celebrate "Fan Appreciation Night," presented by St. Joseph's Medical Center and KB Home. The game can be heard live on the internet (free-of-charge) and is available for viewing at a $6 "pay-per-view" charge at www.stocktonthunder.com (courtesy of B2 Networks).

Recently named host of the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game, the Thunder drew 228,364 fans to Stockton Arena in its inaugural season, the ECHL's best attendance mark for 2005-06.
