BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club is proud to announce that rookie All-Star Todd Griffith has been selected as a member of the ECHL All-Rookie Team. He is the first Condor to receive the honor since the 2002-03 season when Jonas Lennartsson and Jason Jackson were named to the team, and the third overall.

"It's a great honor to be chosen as a member of the team," said Griffith. "I never would have made the team if I didn't have the support from my team, the organization and most of all, the fans."

Griffith, 22, currently ranks second among ECHL rookies with 26 goals and has 43 points in 46 games despite not playing since March 13 due to a broken hand. Along with being one of the top rookie scorers in the league, Griffith was also selected as an ECHL All-Star this year.

On January 8, 2007, the Welland, Ontario native was re-assigned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, an AHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders. Griffith played one game for the Sound Tigers where he recorded two penalty minutes.
