
Lake County Completes Sweep over Dragons, 5-3

Eastlake, Ohio - Bo Greenwell and Chun Chen each hit two-run home runs to lead the Lake County Captains to a 5-3 victory and a doubleheader sweep over the Dayton Dragons on Thursday. Lake County won the suspended game 2-1.
Greenwell and Chen both hit their home runs as part of a five-run first inning for Lake County against Dragons starting pitcher J.C. Sulbaran (2-1). Sulbaran suffered the loss. He worked four innings, allowing four hits and five earned runs with four walks and six strikeouts.
The Dragons hit three home runs in a game for the first time this season, but they were all solo homers. Henry Rodriguez hit the first pitch of the game for his fourth homer of the year. Chris Richburg belted his fourth home run of 2010 in the fourth inning to make it 5-2, and Josh Garton belted a homer in the sixth, his second of the year, to make it 5-3.
In the final inning (the seventh), Kevin Coddington led off with a single for the Dragons to bring the tying run to the plate, but the next three hitters were retired as Dayton fell to 13-14 on the year. Lake County improved to 20-8.
The Dragons will open a three-game series at South Bend against the Silver Hawks on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Josh Ravin (1-1, 1.82) will start for Dayton against South Bend's Chase Anderson (1-3, 3.20). The Dragons next home game is Monday, May 10 against the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Fifth Third Field.
