Between Innings Skits from the Dragons' Green Team
**Dragons On The Field**
First baseman Chris Richburg has continued to swing with power for the Dragons after being named Dragons' Batter of the Month in April. Richburg welcomed in the month of May with a two-run homerun in the bottom of the first inning in a win over Bowling Green.
Right hander Chase Ware has pitched well in relief for the Dragons. The Mississippi native led the team with three wins and had a 2.89 ERA through 18.2 innings as of May 6th. Ware also recorded 15 strikeouts while issuing just four walks.
The Dragons are in their 11th season of professional baseball in Dayton. Former Reds first baseman Todd Benzinger has returned for his second season with the Dragons. Joining him on the coaching staff are hitting coach Ken Griffey, Sr., a member of the Reds Hall of Fame, and pitching coach Tony Fossas, a veteran of 12 Major League seasons as a player.
