L-Kings Stop Losing Streak In Dramatic Fashion

Clinton recorded all seven of their runs in the bottom of the ninth, including a three run walk off bomb from Jim Fasano (.308 / .366 / .417).

John Bannister (3.96 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits and a pair of walks, fanning five through the first six innings before Matt Farnum dealt two scoreless frames of relief, allowing two hits while recording three K's.

Ben Harrison went 2-3 with a double and a walk, driving in the first run in the L-Kings' big ninth. Brandon Boggs went 2-3 with a walk and stole a base.

Marc Lamacchia (2-0; 2.42) surrendered a run in the top of the ninth, but earned the win nonetheless.

The LumberKings now hit the road for eight days. The first stop is Lansing, Michigan for three games and then will visit the Beloit Snappers for a four game set. June 8 is an off day for the LumberKings and will return home June 9 to take on the Kane County Cougars.
