Beloit Sky Carp News Release

Right-hander Anthony Swarzak was named the Midwest League Pitcher of the Week for the week of May 16-22. Swarzak becomes the first Snappers pitcher this season to be named pitcher of the week and the second Snapper this season. Dwayne White was named Midwest League Player of the Week earlier this month. In his only start last week Swarzak scattered two hits, struck out 13 batters, didn't issue a walk and gave up an unearned run in eight innings. The Snappers return home from their eight game road trip Saturday, June 4 to face the Clinton Lumberkings for a four game set. Fireworks will follow the game on Saturday. Sunday, June 5 the Snappers will be handing out Dave Krynzel Bobble Heads for the first 500 fans. The Snappers second All You Can Eat Night is scheduled for Monday, June 6. Tuesday, June 7 will conclude the four game series with College Night/Dollar Night.
