The LumberKings recorded as many errors as hits (four) in support of starter Michael Shlact (4.48 ERA) who battled through five innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on eight hits and a walk while fanning two.
Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) alum Emerson Frostad once again led the Clinton lineup with a double and his 13th homer of the year to drive in two runs.
Josh Giles (0-2; 4.09) went the final three, allowing two runs, one earned, on no hits and five walks.
The L-Kings staged a hitless ninth-inning rally that included an RBI sac fly from Andrew Wishy but ended with a Tug Hulett fly out.
