
Sanders bids adieu to Lugnuts with promotion to New Hampshire

LANSING - The Toronto Blue Jays have announced today that outfielder Anthony Sanders has been promoted to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats of the Eastern League effective for today's games. Sanders will immediately join the Fisher Cats in Reading, Philadelphia for their game today.
Sanders, 31, played in 10 games with the Lugnuts, batting .278 with three runs driven in. He went 1-3 in what turned out to be his final game last night in Lansing's 16-2 win over Burlington at Oldsmobile Park.
With the departure of the minor league veteran, the Lugnuts' active roster stands at 24 players, one below the Midwest League allowed limit.
