Dayton, OH - OF Jordan Belcher has been promoted from the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League and will be in uniform for Friday night's series finale against the Fort Wayne Wizards at Fifth Third Field. Belcher takes the roster spot vacated when centerfielder B.J. Szymanski was placed on the DL with a broken left hand. Belcher was a 41st round selection of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2003 First Year Player Draft out of Augusta Christian High School in Georgia. Belcher appeared in 30 games with the Mustangs in 2005 and was hitting .266 with three home runs and 28 runs batted in at the time of his promotion. Heading in to 2005, in two seasons of minor league baseball with the Reds, Belcher was a .253 hitter with one homer and 31 RBI in 94 games. The Dragons roster is back at 25 players.
