July 29, 2005 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Clinton LumberKings News Release

Thursday Recap

Lansing 4 @ Clinton 1

2005 15th rounder Kea Kometani, a right hander out of Pepperdine, held Lansing to a run on run on four hits and no walks while fanning five in six strong innings, but the LumberKings wasted the effort, scoring just once on five hits.

Billy Susdorf went 2-3 with a walk, driving in Clinton's only run with a second inning single to give the L-Kings a 1-0 lead.

The Lugnuts got to reliever Josh Giles (0-1; 4.50) for a run on one hit and three walks in two innings and added two more against Marc Lamacchia in the ninth.
