
Rosales Joins Dragons

Dayton, OH - INF Adam Rosales has been transferred from the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League to the Dayton Dragons and will join the team for the opening of its four game series in Cedar Rapids beginning Friday night. Rosales was a 12th round selection by the Reds in the 2005 first year player draft, out of Western Michigan University. The short stop becomes the first member of the 2005 Draft class to join the Dragons. Rosales was a two-time first team all MAC selection with the Broncos and hit .309 with 6 HR, 31 RBI and 12 stolen bases. With the Mustangs, Rosales hit .321 with 5 HR and 25 RBI in 34 games. To make room for Rosales on the active roster, C Chad Ziemendorf has been placed on the DL with a right shoulder strain. In nine games with the Dragons, Ziemendorf is hitting .172 with 0 HR and 4 RBI. The Dragons roster is currently at 25 players.
