Hershey, PA (January 31, 2011) - Syracuse Crunch right wing Kyle Palmieri recorded two points (1g, 1a), while teammates Bobby Butler (Binghamton Senators) and Rhett Rakshani (Bridgeport Sound Tigers) both notched a goal and three assists, leading the Eastern Conference to an 11-8 win over the Western Conference at the 2011 AHL All-Star Classic tonight in front of 10,736 fans at Giant Center.

Butler was named the game's MVP, while Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goaltender John Curry stopped 27 of 31 shots he faced.

The East trailed 4-1 about 11 minutes into the first period, but the Crunch's 19-year old rookie took a feed from Adirondack's Erik Gustafsson and buried it from the top of the crease past Peoria's Jake Allen to spark the comeback.

Palmieri then picked up and assist on Jeremy Williams' second period goal to give the East a 6-4 lead at the 11:21 mark of the middle stanza.

Rochester's Michal Repik registered three points (1g, 2a) and Texas' Francis Wathier scored twice for the Western Conference in the losing effort.

The Crunch travel to Adirondack on Friday, February 4 before returning home to face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
