NORFOLK, Va. - Join the Norfolk Admirals Hockey Club at Norfolk Scope Arena for an encore performance of the national anthem by Elizabeth Hughes this Saturday night, February 5.

Eight-year-old Elizabeth and Admirals fans inspired people across the country with a display of unity and composure on January 7 at Norfolk Scope Arena. Halfway through a beautiful rendition of the national anthem, Elizabeth's microphone malfunctioned and her voice was no longer carried through the arena sound system. Without hesitation, Elizabeth maintained her poise and continued to sing as nearly 5,000 Admirals fans joined her in rousing fashion.

Video posted on YouTube by Elizabeth's parents has been watched by nearly five million people around the world, and the Hughes family has been featured in countless local, national and international media outlets.

Tickets for the game start at $12, including a $1 charitable donation to Elizabeth's school, the Hebrew Academy of Tidewater. Tickets may be purchased at the Norfolk Scope Box Office, any Ticketmaster Outlet, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com. All fans in attendance on February 5 will receive an American Flag courtesy of A Step In Time Chimney Sweeps.

The Norfolk Admirals have been members of the American Hockey League (AHL) since 2000. They are the top minor league affiliate of the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning. On February 5, the Admirals will face off against the Binghamton Senators, the top minor league affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators. The game will start at 7:15 p.m.
