The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have recalled forward Cody Hodgson from the Manitoba Moose.

Hodgson, 20, has appeared in 28 games thus far for the Moose in his rookie pro season. The native of Markham, ON has scored 16 points (10g, 6a) in that time and collected 10 penalty minutes. Hodgson recently returned from an injury on Jan. 23/11 vs. Abbotsford after missing 18 games. Earlier this season, he had a six-game points streak which saw him collect 10 points (6g, 4a). He also has two game-winning goals.

Hodgson previously played in 11 Calder Cup playoff games with the Moose in 2009 where he scored six points (4g, 2a). Hodgson, who won a Gold Medal with Team Canada at the 2009 IIHF Under-20 World Championships, has not appeared in an NHL game to this point in his career.

He was originally drafted by Vancouver in the first round, 10th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
