Anaheim Recalls Right Wing Dan Sexton

Syracuse, NY (January 31, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled right wing Dan Sexton.

Sexton, 23, has appeared in 17 games with the Crunch this season, tallying 17 points (9g, 8a). His nine goals rank second on the club and 17 points tie him for fourth on the team in scoring among active players. In addition, he has skated in 23 games with Anaheim this year, recording six points (3g, 3a) and two penalty minutes.

A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Sexton appeared in 76 games in two seasons with Bowling Green (CCHA) from 2007-09, recording 60 points (24g, 36a) and 34 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on April 7, 2009.

The Crunch travel to Adirondack on Friday, February 4 before returning home to face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
