CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Mighty Ducks left wing Chris Kunitz, currently in the NHL with Anaheim, was added to the Canadian roster for the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic, which will be held February 8-9 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Kunitz, who was leading Cincinnati and AHL rookies in scoring with 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 38 games with Cincinnati this season, will replace center Tony Martensson as the Ducks representative at the All-Star Classic.
Martensson, who leads Cincinnati in assists (23) and ranks third in points (29), has not played since January 21 due to a rib injury.
