Boise, ID - Idaho Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced on Saturday that the team has signed forward Kruise Reddick to a standard player contract. Reddick will be available for Idaho's contest tonight against the Colorado Eagles.
Reddick, 25, signs his first professional contract after finishing a five-year college career at the University of Alberta. Reddick played his final college game on March 17th and will now suit up for Idaho.
The native of Manor, Saskatchewan netted 14 goals and 30 points this season for the Golden Bears to go along with a plus-17 rating. Reddick served as an assistant captain during the 2013-14 season and was promoted to captain for the 2014-15 season.
Prior to his college career, Reddick played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Tri-City Americans. He served as captain for the 2010-11 season, his final year of junior hockey. In 315 WHL games, Reddick scored 91 goals and 265 points.
