Krischuk Returns to Wranglers

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that defenseman Jason Krischuk ("Chris-chuck") has agreed to terms with the team. This will be his fourth season with Las Vegas.

Krischuk, 31, has played three past seasons for Las Vegas (2006-08, 2009-10). In those three years, he collected 104 points (17 goals, 87 assists) and 202 penalty minutes in 236 games. The 5'10, 180-pound blueliner spent the 2010-11 season with the CHL's Texas Brahmas where he put up 37 points (9 goals, 28 assists) in 64 games. Before turning professional in the 2006-07 season, Krischuk went to the University of Nebraska - Omaha for three years, tallying 33 points (7 goals, 26 assists) and 83 penalty minutes in 110 games.

The Wranglers take on the Idaho Steelheads tonight at Orleans Arena with a puck drop at 7:05 p.m. The annual Teddy Bear Toss returns tonight as well to benefit Sunrise Acres Elementary School.

The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
