Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The last time the Kalamazoo Wings and South Carolina Stingrays met was last season during the K-Wings' annual St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game. While the venue and season have changed, the ice will remain the same color, as the teams will play tonight and tomorrow on green ice to promote recycling awareness.
Hopping on the bus following a 5-2 loss two nights ago versus the Greenville Road Warriors, the K-Wings are set to commence a season-long tying four-game road swing. On the season, Kalamazoo is 4-3-0-1 away from Wings Stadium.
Tonight is game five of a season-long tying six-game home stand for the Stingrays, who have won the first four games of the stretch. The top team in the Eastern Conference has been stellar at home, as they own a conference best record of 8-2-0-0 at the North Charleston Coliseum.
