
Lee Baldwin Assigned by New York Rangers

GREENVILLE, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that defenseman Lee Baldwin has been assigned to the club by the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.
Baldwin returns to the Road Warriors for his second stint this season. He skated in four games from November 10 to 18 and was a +1 with four shots on goal and five penalty minutes. The Road Warriors were 4-0-0 over that stretch with Baldwin in the lineup. As a rookie in 2010-11 Baldwin registered 10 points (2G, 8A) and 15 penalty minutes in 27 games. He also added one assist in 10 Kelly Cup playoff games.
The 23-year-old defender comes to Greenville from the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League. With Connecticut, Baldwin has played eight games this season and has a +1 rating. The 6-4, 205-pounder has played 36 games at the AHL level with the Whale/Hartford Wolf Pack since turning pro in 2010.
Baldwin is expected to be in the lineup when the Road Warriors take on the Toledo Walleye tonight in Toledo.
