IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals go for a third-straight win when they welcome to Trenton Titans to First Arena on Teddy Bear Toss Night, with the puck dropping at 7:35 p.m. The Jackals have overcome 2-0 deficits in consecutive games for 3-2 victories, beating the Reading Royals in overtime on Saturday and in a shootout on Wednesday.
BINGHAM GOES FOR 300
Elmira's next victory will be the 300th win in Pat Bingham's head-coaching career. Bingham is in his eighth season as a head coach and earned his first win in 1999 with Huntsville of the CHL.
LOW-SCORING VICTORIES
The Jackals won all four of their overtime contests in November by a score of 3-2, and allowed just two goals in all six of their victories in the month. Elmira has allowed no more than two goals in eight of its nine victories this season and has not allowed more than two goals in a win since opening night, when the Jackals defeated the Titans 7-3.
