Martin Goes to Houston

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Joey Martin has signed a player tryout agreement with the Houston Aeros of the AHL. In a separate move, the Walleye placed defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin on injured reserve.

Martin will be making his first trip to the American Hockey League. The first year forward from Thorold, Ontario has skated in fifteen games this year with the Walleye, scoring four goals while adding in five assists. Houston plays in Rochester tonight and Toronto on Saturday.
