Kostitsyn scores first NHL goal

Former Bulldog RW Andrei Kostitsyn scored his first career NHL goal last night in the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 win over the Phoenix Coyotes at the Bell Centre. Other ex-Dogs that contributed offensively last night for the Canadiens were:

- LW Tomas Plekanec - one goal, one assist

- RW Michael Ryder - scored his team leading 13th goal of the season

- C Garth Murray - one assist

- C Chris Higgins - one assist

- C Mike Ribeiro - one assist

The Bulldogs next action will take place on Friday, December 16, when they begin a three game road trip by facing the Philadelphia Phantoms. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 23, when they host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
