Moose Release Kelman from PTO; Sign Bolduc to PTO

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have released forward Scott Kelman from his pro tryout contract and have signed forward Alexandre Bolduc to a pro tryout contract.

Kelman, 24, is a Winnipeg native. He played in three games with the Moose during his pro tryout contract. In that time, Kelman collected a pair of assists. In 15 games with the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL, Kelman has scored six goals and 13 assists for 19 points and 43 penalty minutes. Kelman was the first choice of the Phoenix Coyotes, 15th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Bolduc, 20, has played in 19 games so far this season with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL where he has scored eight goals, four assists for 12 points. He has also collected 64 penalty minutes. In four years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Montreal, PQ native collected 57 goals and 156 points along with 375 penalty minutes in 257 games with Rouyn-Noranda and Shawinigan. Bolduc was the fourth choice, 127th overall, of the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
