
Koemts add Goalie Tyler Masters to roster

Fort Wayne, IN --- The Komets announced today that 2nd-year goaltender Tyler Masters has been added to the roster while goaltender Kelly Shields and defenseman Aaron Wilson were placed on waivers.
Masters, 25, completed 4 years at Bowling Green University as a member of the Falcons in the NCAA from 1999-2003. The goalie started his career appearing in 26 games last season with Cincinnati in the ECHL posting a 7-16-1 record and .328 goals-against average. Masters played 1 game at the start of this season Oct. 30th with Louisianna of the ECHL.
With the roster moves today, the Komets have a roster of 21 players including 12 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goaltenders entering the 5th week of the 2004-05 UHL season.
Komets to skate 3 games this week.....the Komets have 3 games slated for the week. Wednesday the Komets faceoff against the Generals at Flint at 7:05pm. Friday the Komets return home to host Western Conference rival and leader Rockford at 8pm at the coliseum. Saturday the Komets travel to Missouri to face the River Otters at 8:35pm Fort Wayne time (game previously scheduled to start at 8:05pm Fort Wayne time).
