River Otters Leading Scorer Montgomery Sidelined With Injury

St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League have announced that leading scorer Jim Montgomery will be sidelined 8-10 weeks with a sports hernia.

Montgomery, 35, currently leads the River Otters with seven goals and eleven points. He has played more than 120 games in the National Hockey League, including 67 with the St. Louis Blues.

Missouri will continue its season without Montgomery on Friday, November 12 against Kalamazoo at the Family Arena. Face-off is at 7:05 and all of the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 FM, the River Otters flagship station.
