(GREENSBORO, NC) The Florida Marlins announced today that right-handed pitcher Kurt Koehler has been re-instated to Greensboro's active roster from the 7-day disabled list.
Koehler suffered a head injury in early June after diving into the shallow end of a swimming pool at his apartment complex.
The California native's last start was June 2 in Charleston, SC. Koehler received his fourth loss on the year bringing his record to 0-4. Koehler has a 5.05 ERA in 62.1 innings pitched. He has allowed 86 hits and 41 runs while striking out 46.
Koehler was selected by the Marlins in the 17th round of the 2003 First Year Player Draft. He is expected to take the mound tonight in game three of the three game series in Hickory, NC.
