FORT MILL, S.C. - September 2, 2007 - The Knights were 8-1 losers to visiting Durham in from of 4,863 fans at Knights Stadium on Sunday. The Knights continue to play Durham tough, as they try to prevent the Bulls from winning the International League Southern Division championship.
Seo went 7 innings allowing 1 run off 4 hits. The win didn't come easy as the Knights have been one of the hottest teams in the International League having won 7 of their last 10 including the previous day against Durham.
The Knights got another good performance at the plate from outfielder Alex Sanchez who went 2 for 4 to raise his batting average .354 on the season. Sanchez scored the Knights only run, coming in on an Earl Snyder base hit in the first inning.
The Knights did get a solid start from Nick Masset, who threw 5 innings allowing just 3 runs and striking out 6.
The Knights and Bulls will continue their series tomorrow at Knights Stadium. RHP Charlie Haeger (5-15, 4.22 ERA) will start for the Knights, Durham will counter with RHP Mitch Talbot (12-9, 4.67 ERA).
