SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento Kings today announced the team has recalled forward Wenyen Gabriel and guard Justin James from the team's NBA G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.
In the Stockton Kings' 132-112 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce last night at Stockton Arena, Gabriel scored 20 points (7-12 FG, 3-4 FT, 2-4 3PT) along with eight rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot. James contributed 17 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 FT) plus four assists, two blocked shots and two rebounds as the Stockton Kings moved to 2-1 on the season.
In five games for the Sacramento Kings this season, Gabriel is averaging 2.2 points (.250 FG%, 1-6 3pt, 4-7 FT), 1.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 6.8 minutes per game.
James has appeared in three games for the Sacramento Kings this season, accruing averages of 2.3 points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3pt, 1-4 FT), 0.7 rebounds and 4.0 minutes per game.
