
Stockton Kings Beat Sioux Falls Skyforce 132-112 for Second Home Win

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (2-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce (2-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Miami Heat, 132-112 - giving the Skyforce their first loss of the season. Four roster players from the Sacramento Kings, including Wenyen Gabriel (20 points), Justin James (17 points) and two-way players Kyle Guy (15 points) and DaQuan Jefferies (15 points) combined for 67 points to contribute to tonight's win at Stockton Arena.
Stockton Kings guard Gabe Vincent led Stockton off of the bench with a season-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and 4-of-8 shooting. Sioux Falls guard Jerimiah Martin led both teams in scoring with 32 points, shooting 13- of-16 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range.
Stockton forward Cody Demps scored 10 of his 12 points in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Martin scored 16 points shooting 6-of-7 from the field and 2-of-3 from three-point range. In the second quarter, the Kings shot 4-of-5 from three-point range and 14-of-21 from the field. Vincent sank a 3-pointer to put Stockton up 71-66 with 17 seconds remaining in the first half. Skyforce guard Mychal Mulder answered with a three-point shot at the buzzer to bring the score to 71-69 at the half.
In the third quarter, assignment players Justin James and Wenyen Gabriel added 9 points each. The game remained close, heading into the fourth quarter with Stockton ahead 103-98. Stockton then outscored Sioux Falls 29-14 in the fourth quarter with their biggest lead of 21 points with 1:32 remaining in regulation.
Center Eric Mika and Gabriel both added 20 points for the Stockton victory. Mika finished the game with 15 rebounds, with 13 coming on the defensive glass.
The Stockton Kings will be on the road for the next four games, facing the Memphis Hustle on Friday, November 15. The Kings will be back in action at Stockton Arena for a three-game home stand on November 26, 29 and 30. Tickets can be purchased at StocktonKings.com/Tickets.
