Kings Assign Goaltender Travis Scott

EL SEGUNDO, CA. - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned goaltender Travis Scott to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Scott, 27, has not played in a game for the Kings this season. He has played in 26 games with the Monarchs this season and has a 14-8-2 record, a 2.61 goals against average and a .916 save percentage. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound native of Kanata, Ontario, has appeared in one career NHL game - the Kings-New York Rangers game on November 28, 2000, in New York. He was signed by the Kings as a free agent on February 18, 2000.

The Kings next take on the Philadelphia Flyers Thursday night in Philadelphia beginning at 8 p.m. (EST). The game, which begins a five-game road trip, will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN Radio 710-KSPN and along the Kings Radio Network.
