Komisarek Rejoins Bulldogs Tonight

The Montreal Canadiens, a parent club of the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs, have assigned defenceman Mike Komisarek to Hamilton.

Komisarek, a 21-year-old native of West Islip, New York, was originally recalled by the Canadiens on February 9th. The 6'4, 240 pound AHL All-Star defenceman has played in 55 games with the Bulldogs this season and has posted 4g-24a-28pts, along with 75 penalty minutes. Komisarek is scheduled to rejoin the Canadiens for their game in Buffalo on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs have also signed defencemen Gary Roach and Sylvain Dufresne to professional tryout contracts. Roach and Dufresne both played for Flint Generals of the United Hockey League this season. Roach, 28, has played in 26 games with the Generals this season and earned 8g-21a-29pts; while Dufresne, 24, has skated in 54 contests with Flint and has notched 16g-25a-41pts.
