Bulldogs Whitewash Binghamton

Eric Fichaud stopped all 22 shots he faced on Tuesday night, as he led the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 4-0 win over the Binghamton Senators at Copps Coliseum. The shutout was Fichaud's second of the season.

The Hamilton Bulldogs now have a record of 42 wins, 9 losses, 5 ties and 4 overtime losses. The Bulldogs continue to lead the American Hockey League with 93 points. Hamilton is just one point short of the franchise record for points (94), which was set back in the 1997-98 season.

Scoring for the Bulldogs on Tuesday night were Jason Ward, Tomas Plekanec, Donald Audette and Mike Komisarek. Hamilton defenceman Francois Beauchemin earned three assists in the contest.

After the game defenceman Mike Komisarek was recalled by the Montreal Canadiens. As well, Hamilton native Ryan Risidore was reassigned to the Columbus Cottonmouths of the East Coast Hockey League.
