Norfolk Recalls Sebastien LaPlante

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Sebastien LaPlante from the Roanoke Express, their East Coast Hockey League affiliate. LaPlante has appeared in 35 games for Roanoke, posting a record of 18-11-2 with a 3.25 goals against average and a .894 save percentage. Norfolk signed the netminder to an AHL Standard Player's contract September 9, 2002.

The Admirals are on the road this weekend with a pair of matches slated against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks (Mighty Ducks of Anaheim) on Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22. Game time is 7:35 each night. All Admirals games are broadcast on WBVA AM-1450 ‘The Buzz' and are cybercast through www.sportsjuice.com.
