
Taylor leads Americans past Ducks

ROCHESTER, NY - Chris Taylor recorded a goal and two assists to lead the Rochester Americans to a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Tuesday at Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial.
Norm Milley and Milan Bartovic also scored for the Americans, who snapped a 12-game home winless streak (0-7-5-0).
Mika Noronen stopped 24 of the 25 shots that went his way in the win for Rochester, which improved to 4-2-1-0 against Cincinnati this season.
Mike Commodore provided the lone goal for the Ducks, who have lost four in a row and are winless in their last six (0-4-2-0).
Jean-Francois Damphousse was peppered with 43 shots and stopped 39 in the loss.
The Ducks begin a six-game home stand tonight when they host the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
