CHKD: On Monday, February 17, Admirals Ajay Baines, Casey Hankinson and Marty Wilford paid a visit to the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters to deliver the remainder of the toys collected during this year's annual Toy Toss. Half of the toys had been delivered to CHKD at Christmas time, but due to the team's travel schedule, the rest were taken to the hospital Monday.
On the Radio: Thursday, February 20, The Admirals Radio Show broadcasts live with host Pete Pochkowski, who is filling in for Pete Michaud while the team is on the road. Tune in as he welcomes a special guest in the studio on WBVA AM-1450 "The Buzz" from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
I'm a Travellin' Man: Sunday, February 23, mascots Hat Trick and Salty will appear at the CI Travel Show at the Virginia Beach Pavilion from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The Mike and Bob Show: Tuesday, February 25, tune in to 96X (96.1/106.1 FM) between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. and listen as Mike Powers and Bob Fresh welcome Shawn Thornton and another player in the studio as their guests.
106.9 The Fox Night: Wednesday, February 26, as the Admirals take on the Manchester Monarchs at 7:15 p.m., 106.9 The Fox will have a table on the concourse where they'll have t-shirts and other giveaways. If available, Admirals players will be signing autographs at the Fox table during the second intermission.
