Kings Announce Roster Moves

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, 2012 Stanley Cup Champion and the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled defenseman Andrew Campbell from the Monarchs and have assigned defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk to the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Campbell, who turned 25 on Monday, has played in 27 games for the Monarchs this season and recorded six points (all assists), 26 penalty minutes and a plus-11 rating (leads Monarchs defensemen). Campbell ranks third on the Monarchs all-time games played list with 325. Originally selected by the Kings in the third-round (74th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-4, 206-pound native of Caledonia, Ontario, has not played in the NHL. He will wear No. 81.

Bodnarchuk has not played for the Kings this season. He was recalled by the Kings on January 21 from Manchester when defenseman Matt Greene was placed on the injured reserve list. He has played in 39 games with Manchester this season and has 12 points (3-912), 48 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating.
