
Anaheim Recalls Jordan Hendry from Admirals

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have recalled defenseman Jordan Hendry from the Admirals.
Hendry, 6-foot-0, 197 pounds, has appeared in 31 games for the Admirals this season, netting two goals and four points with 33 penalty minutes.
The 27-year-old native of Lanigan, Saskatchewan, has appeared in one game with the Ducks this season - Anaheim's season opener at Vancouver on January 19, recording 18:24 of ice time. In 130 career NHL games between the Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks, Hendry has four goals and 13 points with 40 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 15 career Stanley Cup Playoff games and won the 2010 Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks.
Hendry has appeared in 230 career AHL games between the Admirals, Rockford IceHogs and Houston Aeros, netting 13 goals and 43 points with 241 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in nine career Calder Cup Playoff games, posting two assists and 12 penalty minutes.
Hendry was signed by Anaheim as a free agent on July 1, 2012. In 110 career collegiate games with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Hendry posted 11 goals and 36 points. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Blackhawks on July 17, 2006.
The Admirals take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday and Saturday nights at Norfolk Scope Arena. The second Military Appreciation Night, presented by USAA, takes place on Friday night.
